The components of this redevelopment plan to include the following aspects:
A replica of Old Sydney Town ( formerly sited at Somersby) be built adjacent to Cook’s Landing Place to be serviced, in part, by tall ships bringing tourists from Sydney Harbour on regularly scheduled excursions. This could be enhanced by the development of ferry services around Botany Bay that would bring visitors to the site.
A Museum allied to and including local Aboriginal culture and art was supported and a better marketing of the NSW Parks & Wildlife’s Discovery Tours of the Royal National Park recommended. The Museum could be situated near to Captain Cook’s landing place at Kurnell
